In St. Teresa of Calcutta Church, Mysore the feast of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary was celebrated on 8thSeptember in a grand manner after a year of lockdown due to COVID pandemic. The
celebration began with the procession of Our Lady’s Statue in the church campus with Covid protocol at 5.30 pm. The feast Mass was celebrated by Fr. Manuel D’Souza, Director, St. Joseph’s Hospital, Mysore. The Novena masses were celebrated mostly by our SVD confreres. We had a very strong SVD presence at the feast day celebration with 9 confreres taking part in the Eucharist. There were 350 people who attended the festive Eucharist. It was the first time people came together with large number after a long break due to Covid lockdown. God to be praised for making all happen as planned.
