ASPAC MISSION SECRETARIES MEETING IN TAGAYTAY

The meeting of ASPAC mission secretaries took place at the Eco-Spirituality Centre, LAUDATO SI FARM, Tagaytay, Philippines from 25th September to 30th September with the Theme: ‘Being light and becoming faithful and creative disciples. All the mission secretaries from all the ASPAC Subzone except Australia were in attendance. This is the first meeting after the COVID-19 pandemic. The last physical meeting was in Mumbai, India in 2017. Confreres from the Philippines, India, Indonesia, Vietnam, Taiwan, Macau- China, Bangladesh, PNG, Timor Leste, and Japan took part in the meeting. Our General Mission Secretary from Rome attended the entire meeting and was a resource person for us. The lay Mission partners from the Philippines played a great role in organizing the entire meeting. It was a joy to meet, interact, and listen to Fr. Antonio Pernia SVD our former Superior General during our meeting. We also visited the Pink sisters and the SVD confreres at the Divine Word Institute of Mission Studies (DWIMS) and the major seminarians at Tagaytay.
