FORMATORS COURSE AT ISHVANI KENDRA

Nineteen priests and thirteen sisters participated in the Formators Course: New Challenges and Skills in Formation from November 19 – 16 December 2023 organised by Ishvani Kendra. It was an opportunity for them to fine-tune their skills as Formators. It was an experience they cherished as one of the priests wrote back after reaching his seminary: “I do not have appropriate words to express my heartfelt experience in Ishvani Kendra. It was a wonderful chance for me to re-evaluate myself for the renewal of my formation and pastoral ministry for the well-being of my people. How nicely you have organised all the modules and resource persons according to the needs of the time … In my experience, the most difficult task in this world is to organize programs and guide the religious. You guided us with patience. I have shared with many; all are positive about the program. No one said anything negative about the program. My bishop is also happy.” The 32 participants belonged to eight dioceses and 19 religious’ congregations. It was a great opportunity for Ishvani Kendra to reach out and serve the formation ministry of both priests and sisters.
