Folk Dhamaka at Gyan Ashram Music and Dance Academy

Folk Dhamaka was celebrated as a theme for the cultural day of Gyan Ashram Music and dance Academy. Approx.250 children performed and showcased their talents in the field of Western music, Indian music and different Folk dances. Fr.Tomi Thomas SVD was the guest of honour and Mr.Anthony Gomes The incharge of Furtados music was the Chief Guest for the programme. The programme began with the students performing some lovely instrumental followed by singing and Folk dances all across India. The best students were felicitated who fetched highest makes in the Trinity music examinations Electronic keyboard category and also in the Indian music singing and dance category. The Students, Teachers, Parents and guests had an amazing Extravaganza of Folk Music and dance.Yes indeed it was a Folk Dhamaka.
