All India Soverdia Sangam

The All-India Soverdia Sangam, (AISS) is a Public Trust registered under the Societies Registration Act (III of 1860) in Mumbai, India on the 10 of December 1959. It promotes cultural, educational and social causes. The Trust has sizeable real estate in Andheri East, Mumbai. A substantial portion of the said land is used by the Society for:

i. St. Arnolds School that runs both primary as well as higher secondary standards where more than three thousand five hundred children study;

ii.             Institute of Indian Culture offers Master’s degree courses under the aegis of the University of Mumbai;

iii.        Sarva Seva Sangh, a social service center which attends to the education of slum children through Creche, Balwadi, Computer Education, Care for the HIV infected persons

iv.        Atma Darshan, a professional institute that facilitates the enhancement of psychological and spiritual advancement and wellbeing of people in order to foster values of love, peace and justice; 

v.          Gyan Ashram Institute of Performing Arts, a center of training being amongst the revered academies for dance where a team of instructor’s train students from all sections of the society in a variety of dance forms and music; 

vi.        Dhyan Kutir, an ashram for solitude, meditation, dialogue and counselling for people of any background.

vii.      A religious pray hall/church (Sacred Hearts Church) where more than one thousand members of the Catholic community attend to fulfil their religious obligations almost every day;

viii.     A sports ground for children of St. Arnolds School; 

ix.        Basic living accommodation for about 15 priests of the SVD congregation and a few visiting priests and including housing about 25 guests who need short term accommodation (a few days) while visiting Mumbai to attend to functions etc.

x.         Many other smaller activities focused on uplifting the abilities of various sections of the society. (varies from year to year and depending on the financial requirements)
