Maitri Sangathan an integral part of UCDC, works exclusively for the upliftment  and welfare of migrants, helping them to create self identity and dignity as citizens by providing facilities like opening bank accounts, making PAN cards, UID, and also by providing non-formal education and assisting in their personal and professional growth by organizing camps and classes and directing them to the proper educational institutions and also placements for jobs.
