ANNUAL DAY CELEBRATION AT ST ARNOLD’S HIGH SCHOOL, JUNIOR AND DEGREE COLLEGE, ANDHERI

The Annual Day celebration is an eagerly awaited event in every educational institution. It is a day when students get to showcase their talents, and everyone comes together to celebrate their achievements. The annual day celebration is a perfect platform for students to exhibit their skills in front of their peers, teachers, and parents. St Arnold’s High School and Jr and Degree College celebrated its Annual Day Program with the theme “STARS – S- Study, T- Try, A – Achieve, R- Recognition, S- Success” on 15th December 2023 in the school auditorium. Rev Fr. Dr Keith D’Souza as chief guest, Rev Fr. Tomy Thomas as guest of honour and various other dignitaries were present for the Annual day. Parents of all the students were also invited on this day. The school auditorium was completely decorated with lights and flowers.

The program was inaugurated with the lighting of the lamp by the chief guest- Rev Fr. Dr Keith D’Souza, guest of honour- Rev Fr. Tomy Thomas, the principal- Rev Fr.  Laiju Varkey and other dignitaries. The cultural show began with the welcome song followed by a prayer dance. The Arnoldian family held their head high and proudly sang the school Anthem. Students from all the classes dressed in colourful costumes stole the show with their graceful and power-packed dances. To motivate the students prize distribution of the toppers and rank holders was done during the Annual function. The annual report 2023-24 was presented in front of the crowd, thereby showcasing the different activities conducted during the academic year. The audience present was energized by the vitalizing speech given by the chief guest Rev Keith Dsouza, and guest of honour Rev Fr. Tomy Thomas. Finally, the Manager Rev Fr. Scaria Pannackal and Principal Rev Fr. Laiju Varkey addressed the crowd with their inspirational speech. The annual function ended with a vote of thanks followed by the national Anthem. The Annual Function 2023-24 of St Arnold’s High School ended on a happy note leaving behind the beautiful memories of the day
