20TH ANNIVERSARY OF DIVINE CALL RETREAT CENTRE, MULKI

The Divine Call Centre, Mulki, celebrated its 20th anniversary with a grand event that revolved around the theme, “Showers of Divine Word.” This spiritually enriching celebration, held from October 5th to October 7th, 2023, brought together close to 3,000 faithful at the centre. Additionally, it drew an overwhelming online audience of more than a lakh people who attended the program virtually, emphasizing the widespread reach and impact of the Divine Call Centre’s mission. In preparation for the grand celebration on October 7th, a night vigil was held on September 30th, 2023. More than 200 faithful attended this spiritual event, which commenced at 6 p.m. on September 30th and concluded at 6 a.m. on October 1st. It served as a unique opportunity for attendees to deepen their faith and prepare themselves spiritually for the transformative experience awaiting them on October 7th. The anniversary festivities commenced on October 5th, with a dedicated focus on the theme “Showers of Divine Word.” On this day, attendees had the privilege of being inspired by Br. Prakash Dsouza from Bandra who delivered profound teachings. Through his insightful guidance, the faithful were encouraged to embrace the Divine Word as a guiding light in their spiritual journeys, fostering a deeper connection with their faith.

October 6th was dedicated to exploring the “Power of Divine Word.” Mr. Br. T.K George took the stage and delivered excellent and inspiring talks, emphasizing how the Divine Word empowers individuals to cultivate inner strength, healing, and resilience. It proved to be a day of personal growth and spiritual transformation for all in attendance. The grand culmination of the event took place on October 7th, 2023, where the theme was “Life-Giving Word of God.” Rev. Fr. Pius Dsouza, Shimoga, who led the sessions on the theme “Life-Giving Word of God”, inspired the faithful, encouraging them to contemplate the transformative and life-nourishing qualities of God’s word. On this significant day, Msg. Rev. Fr. Maxim Noronha, Mangalore, was the main celebrant. His sermon on His words resonated deeply with the audience, reinforcing the significance of the Divine Word in their spiritual lives. Adding to the special significance of the day, the INM Provincial, Rev. Fr. Tomy Thomas SVD, graced the celebration on October 7th. He concelebrated the Mass, contributing to the solemnity of the occasion. Following the Mass, he delivered an inspiring message that resonated with the assembled faithful. His words served as a reminder of the broader spiritual purpose of the center and this further enhanced the overall impact of the celebration. The resounding success of this significant celebration can be attributed to the dedicated leadership of Rev. Fr.
